Job Summary:
An Experienced Infant/Child Care Worker is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for infants and toddlers. Their duties include coming up with creative and educational activities, assisting with feedings, and maintaining a clean environment. Child Care Workers are responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the infants have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary.
- Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day.
- Scheduled feedings and snacks.
- Organizing activities for child development.
- Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day.
- Keeping records of each child's progress, interest, and any problems that may occur.
- Maintaining contact with the children's parents and contacting them in the case of an emergency.
Qualifications:
- Experienced @ least 1 year.
- 90-hour certificate.
- 9 hours communication.
- Med Administration.
- 45-hour infants and toddlers.
- Emergency preparedness.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Childcare: 2years (Preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED.
